Travel To be polite abroad, you ate WHAT?

In the article "Travel To be polite abroad, you ate WHAT? " by Gary Stoller is about how to deal  with strange food when people go to other countries, and the author states that people should not refuse bizarre food because it shows polite behavior of people with other people. There are three supporting idea for the author. First, in each countries they always have unique foods, so people will have the opportunity to enjoy some bizarre food if people go to other countries. Sometimes people do not want to eating bizarre foods; however, people should try at least one time because it can change their mind, that means people can like it, and also that represents polite behavior with others, who take their time to cook for people. Second, Lee (2013) asserts, "If you don't want to be adventurous, you can simply fib and say you're allergic to whatever is being served"(Stoller, para13), that is a reason white lie if people can not eating bizarre foods , and they will feel comfortable with other people , it means people still respect each other without impolite. Finally, there are many excuse can be use if people don't want to eating a bizarre food. The author discuses some example, such as " I have allergic with strange food, I am a vegetarian or my doctor has me on a strict diet...". So, people can avoid eating bizarre foods that still expressing polite to others. To sum up, trying a bizarre food is polite with other people, and also having a good experience about a new food. If people like the food, they can enjoy more, but if they don't like, they can refuse a polite way.
